This module was one of the very first in my degree course. In it, we were able to put our newly acquired skills from the introductory workshop courses into practice. We each had to join two wooden sticks in some way. We were only allowed to use one material at a time and it had to be possible to undo the connection. One connection had to be rigid and the other flexible and movable. The reduced choice of materials and the staging of the objects radiate a calm but definite aesthetic.
